Is Their Anything I Can Do to Stop My Jack Russells From Malting?

Every night my Jack Russells are inside they leave their fur all over the place. Is their a way to stop it or minimise the malting.

Buy yourself some Brewers Yeast and sprinkle it in their food. I used to sprinkle about a half a teaspoon over my dog's food every day. He's a Lab so you may want to use the same for two dogs.

In about two weeks it will start to get better.

You can also give them Cod Liver Oil to improve their coat.

You used the word moulting so I assume you don't live in the States. When I lived there the on-line pet stores sold a pet vacuum (hoover) which was a low powered vacuum which you used to brush your pet. They also sold attachments to hook onto your regular vacuum cleaner and you could use that as well. It would take some work to get your dogs used to it, but it may help if you can get something similar.

I use Holland & Barrats de-bittered Brewers Yeast. When I lived in the States I used a different brand which was sold in the health food section of the grocery store.

    I'm not sure i don't think there is. Try to give them a regular brush everyday and give them a wash now and them .

    All dogs shed. You can brush him a couple times a week and that will help cut down on shedding.

    Dogs moult. Humans lose hair too.
    Brush your dogs every day and that will minimise the amount of hair they shed in the house.

    Just brush them about 3 times a week. If you can afford it get the Furminator. It's a great tool that my groomers use to cut down on shedding. If you get one make sure to brush them out with a regular brush first though, and then groom them outside! Those things are amazing!

    cheap dog food increases the amount of moulting, so if you think their hair loss is excessive look at their food. But I can not imagine jack russells causing too much mess, especially compared to a GSD that leaves a huge mess :)

    I have a jack russell cross kelpie but she has the fur of a jack russell and she just mults like crazy you pick her up for like two seconds and when you put her down you are completly covered in hair we take her for a short car ride and the whole car is covered in hair by the time we get home this happens all year round i heard the a lack in oil in their diet is a factor i wash her every two weeks could proberly brush her more defently going to try that over my holidays i am so despret to stop it its driving me nuts

    im also going nuts, with all the hairs. it annoys me so much that ive stopped bringing him inside. he stays in a porch and is nice and warm, but i get annoyed with him, and it upsets me, and i feel guilty for not letting him in. What do i do?

    does the Brewers Yeast work to stop the moulting she driving some people nuts with her hair falling out and moulting all the time shes a cairn cross with a jack russel dog hairs are everywhere and we are hoovering the house everyday brcause of the dog hairs the living room has most hairs in it and the car when we go on journeys it was covered when we got back home we out their hoovering it for ages so please tell me the answer!!!! DOES THE BREWERS YEAST WORK TO STOP THE MOULTING AND THE COD LIVER OIL WHAT DOES IT DO???? :s
